(Continued from "On The Blood Stained Brick Road" in the "Sanitarium Square" section)

Octavia stood outside the building, staring up at it. She hadn't been able to piece together much, but this was the building she needed to take down. This was the thing providing corruption to her newspaper. This was her nemesis.

"Who knew nemesis' could be so freaking tall?" she thought to herself.

Octavia had arrived here with Jasmine, and even though they had met less than an hour ago, Octavia already felt very close to this new found friend. She would have to rely on Jasmine to navigate around the building, because Octavia was not familiar with it. If she got lost in this enormous place... who knows what would happen to her.

She felt a twitching pain in her hand. She looked down and realized just how tightly she had been gripping the scalpel Jasmine had given her back in Sanitarium Square. She loosened her grip and breathed deeply for a moment, relaxing before a battle she knew was bound to happen. Then she turned to her companion

"Do you think we're ready?"

She closed her eyes for a moment
"what am i doing?"
she thought to herself
this was the point of no return,
if she entered that building, it was all over.
"do i really have it that bad?"
i supose i could just deal with i-

no, theres to many people at risk here
this is my fight, right here, right now
i've been dealing with mosters all my life,
and here's the biggest"
she opened her eyes and looked up at the building
she took a deep breath
she looked to octavia,
im ready, lets go
she took tight grip of her parasol which still had the revolver in it
she began walking twards the doors when something hit her
a voice
"WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!?"
only she heard it
then,
as if the voice itself had struck her she fell to the ground.
she tried to bring herself back up,
the the words for some reason had to escape her mouth
she looked up
"who am i?"
she collected herself, stood up and looked to octavia.
".......im sorry."

Octavia blinked. Jasmine's incident couldn't have happened in more than seven seconds, yet it seemed to last forever. She would have offered Jasmine her hand, but before she knew it, Jasmine was back up already.

"Who am I?"

The words echoed in Octavia's head. She couldn't help but stare at her feet. Why had she wanted to publish that article so badly? She had never wanted to hurt Jasmine's reputation, she just thought that in this modern society where surgery was a fashion statement, a sex change would be no big deal... right?

"But I guess I was wrong" she thought to herself.

Suddenly she noticed the worried expression on Jasmine's face, and how the ordeal had left her just a little shaky.

"Are you sure you're ready?" Octavia asked "We can wait if you want to."

"Yes, yes im ready"
Someone important who she had seemed to have forgotten came back to mind
"hold on octavia, before we do this i need to make a quike call,
make sure a friend is all right."
she stepped away and clung to her comunicator
i won't call, i'll just leave a message.
"Mag?"

*message in the opera house*

Octavia looked up at the building, but could not help listening into the phone call. She was calling Blind Mag! Jasmine seemed to know everyone!

She wanted to ask Jasmine if she could talk to Mag, but now was not the time for that. It was time to finally do what she came here for.

"Let's do this" said Octavia, walking to the building
